Teachers, librarians, and children’s book enthusiasts are invited to An Evening with Victoria Jamieson, author of Roller Girl, a New York Times and Indie bestseller, and the recipient of the 2016 Newbery Honor Award. Roller Girl is the 2016 Kids Reading Across Rhode Island selection. Join us to meet Jamieson and learn about her creative process and inspiration for this popular graphic novel for children.

An Evening with Victoria Jamieson is supported by a grant from TD Charitable Foundation to the RI Center for the Book at the RI Council for the Humanities in support of Kids Reading Across Rhode Island. Kids Reading Across Rhode Island, the summer reading initiative for students in grades 3-6, encourages students across the state to read one special book and engage in community discussions and programs that connect school and summer reading.
