On April 8, 2017 Bryan Stevenson, author of the 2017 Reading Across Rhode Island selection Just Mercy, will give a keynote lecture about the value of proximity in encouraging empathy and mercy in our criminal justice system.
The lecture will take place at 2:00 PM, with the opportunity for book signing after the lecture. Doors open at 1:30 PM.
