KIDS Reading Across Rhode Island, Rhode Island’s One Book, One State community read program for kids, is kicking off its 5th year! This program, offered in partnership with the Rhode Island Center for the Book at the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities, encourages students across the state in grades 4 through 6 to read the same book, and engage in community discussions and programs.
Chris Grabenstein will speak at 3:00 PM. A free signed copy of the book, Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library, will be given out (one per family) while supplies last. Enjoy science activities and games from RI libraries. Try out some life-size board games. Learn about fun programs happening all summer at your local public library.
Visit the OLIS Youth Services Pinterest page for links to thematic program ideas, disucssion guides, and more information about Chris Grabenstein.
